    Comments:

Why is everything that is easy is no good for you. Experience has shown me that whether it be in life, love or food, the ‘easy’ things always turn out to be bad for you. Food is no exception. The ready made quick meals that line our grocery stores shelves these days are loaded with bad things. Sodium, trans fats, sugar you name it. All the things we should be striving to keep out of our bodies are the things that make these meals taste so good and so quick to prepare. What’s the deal. Depending on which conspiracy theorist you talk you, rumor has it that we have sent a man to the moon. I have more computing power in my cell phone than the first space shuttle had. All this advancement and yet we still have an obese nation. Doctors can transplant hearts and I read the other day that a company made a real kidney from scratch. Why can’t science develop an easy and more importantly inexpensive way for me to be at, and maintain a healthy weight? Until that day, it appears that it is my soul responsibility to watch out for myself and the old saying “NO PAIN, NO GAIN” appears to be spot on.

Motivation, the key and the hindrance to all things.
